1831: May 4: John Vince obtains grant for ¼ league on the San Jacinto River and Atkins Creek, and joins Clark (?) survey. <GLO-44>
1834 June 16: James Knight & Walter C. White sell 671 acres for $600 to Richard Vince, Susan Vince & John Vince on the north side of the Brazos River (part of League No. 19). <FBCDR: B-348> also <Austin County (Colony) K-33, reel #1019281>

1836 or early 1837: John Thomas Vince died. Another report says before May 1828 in Ft. Bend Co., TX (conflict with deed above) about 1836 <Internet, World Connect Project>
