Where to go for additional research information:

The first library in Pasadena was located in the newly constructed school in 1912. Over 500 volumes were available on a daily basis. The city library began as part of the county system with 100 books in 1922. The following year the collection was moved to the Post Office. About 1930 the library was moved to the new city hall building.
