year as Richard) (about 1789 in Screven, GA <Internet, World
Connect Project>). 1860 census showed 1800 in S.C.. 1870 Census
showed 1797. Her tombstone indicates 1795.
d. 1878, Lampasas, TX <Humphrey-85> in Fort Bend county,
TX <Internet, World Connect Project> 11 May 1878, buried
in Oak Hill Cemetery. <Tombstone>

1822: To TX with brothers.
1826 census: Keeping house for brother William Vince (a widower).
1831: May 3: Susan Vince receives ¼ league grant on the
San Jacinto river, west side. <GLO-44>
1833, May: The Vince brothers, Allen, William, Robert and Richard
lived at the bridge on Vince's Bayou. Allen vince was a widower.
He had two sons. Their sister, Miss Susan, kept house for them.

Pratt of Ft. Bend county convey land as heirs of Richard Vince
in 1849, <HCDR: N-50>). But note: Mr. Summers died in 1856.
He is buried on the Headwaters of Oyster Creek near Richmond.
<Kemp papers> Kemp, Nesbitt & Humprey must be wrong
about the date since the Probate shown below and Susan filed for
marriage in October 1842.
